This was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Italy! Our guide was energetic and really funny. We walked all around Trastevere on a Saturday night and the neighborhood was alive with people. Most of the places we went to had a line to get in, which we breezed right by. We chatted with owners about their food and culture, and got a real sense of place. The food was phenomenal - lots of small plates of different things.

For our first night in Rome we decided to do the Twilight Trastevere Rome Food Tour and it did not disappoint! My husband and I have done several tours with Eating Europe and the Trastevere tour was definitely one of the best. All of the food was delicious and paired with some incredible wine. Walking through Trastevere in the evening was amazing - it’s so different from the main attractions of Rome, but in a good way! Last but not least, we had a wonderful guide. Miri was so kind, shared a lot of history throughout the tour, and made sure everyone in the group was having the best time. Grazie mille Miri!

Davide was an excellent tour guide! He was personable, knowledgeable, and so much fun! Everything we ate and drank was unbelievable, and I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Italy. Did an amazing tour with Amin! The group was a total of 6 tourists, and we were from around the world. The food was great at each place, and you won’t leave hungry. Plenty to drink as well. Accommodations were made for me, as I don’t drink alcohol, and I didn’t feel left out at all! The tour guide and the company were the highlights of the trip. I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Amin as a guide! It is a great introduction to the city! Thank you for such an amazing time!

This was the best tour and Georgia was an amazing host. The group came together like old friends connecting over wine and so much amazing food. Georgia was wonderful and truly made the tour welcoming to all.

Davide was an incredible guide!
We joined his food tour and cooking class, and it was such a memorable experience from start to finish. We began with a visit to a local shop to pick out our ingredients, where Davide shared the rich history and traditions behind each one, plus a few delicious tastings along the way!
Then we headed to the kitchen to make his grandmother’s pasta recipes, fettuccine and ravioli, completely from scratch. And of course, we got to enjoy everything we made! Absolutely delicious!
Highly recommend booking this experience with Davide. It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself in pasta, tradition, and fun!

This experience is a must for food lovers traveling to Rome and looking for unique and hard to find local spots. The places they take you to would be almost impossible to find or get into without some serious local connections. Giuseppe was our guide and he was super knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and made the experience super fun. My wife and I live in NYC and actively seek quality food. We had the best burrata we’ve ever eaten at da Enzo on this tour. We ate there before the restaurant was open to the public and when we left, the line was around the block, and for good reason! You also get a tour of a 2000 year old wine cellar at Spirito Di Vino, which was incredible. Everything else was top notch and you also get to meet some cool people along the way. 10/10, will do this again if/when we come back to Rome!

We enjoy local food tours and found this tour with Walter (from Australia) to be interesting and very informative. Walter is also a professional chef so not only did he provide interesting details of the historic areas as we walked but also gave a lot of great insight of the food and cooking techniques. Would we tour again with Walter, YES!, without any hesitation. You definitely should book a tour with him because he is so good!

This tour was incredible. Giuseppe was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable and so much fun as well as funny. By the end of the tour he felt like family. The pace of the tour was just right, all the food was amazing, I took my first bite of a supplí and cried because it was so delicious…and by the end I walked away with my heart (and my stomach) so full, with a smile as big as the Colosseum! I highly recommend this tour as it’s out of the busy tourist areas (the tour happens in the Testaccio area of town). It was a definite highlight during our visit to Rome! Try it, go for it, you won’t regret it! Bravo!

Walter provided an excellent twilight Trastevere Rome food tour. He was so knowledgeable about food and Italy in general. It was a good balance between history and food information (and how they’re related). He was very personable and great with relating to people of all ages. (He even navigated an unexpected thunderstorm) I would high in recommend his tours.

If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
