We had a great time on the Albert Cuyp Market & The Pijp, thanks to our guide Gerard. He knew a lot about Dutch foods and made the tour fun and interesting. We tried tasty dutch french toast and herring at the market, which were really good. Gerard told us cool stories about Amsterdam, making us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. I’d recommend this tour to anyone looking to taste the real Amsterdam!

Great tour, Paul was a fantastic guide!! He told us lots about the city, fun facts about buildings, teaching us about the food and the local culture! He made it fun and handled last minute changes (like one of our guests having a gluten intolerance that was not listed on the sign up). He made sure she was cared for all along. He was fun and funny! I highly recommend the tour company but if you can request Paul- do it!!

We had the absolute best time with Paul on our Amsterdam tour! He was not only incredibly knowledgeable and engaging but also went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten allergy, which is no small feat when you’re sampling your way through the city!

Amazing tour with Paul! We explored Jordaan area in Amsterdam with 6 stops for food. A mix of everything! Sweet, savoury, mainly dutch but also local kitchen of Surinamese, Turkish, Indonesian and Moroccan food! was a group of 11, so we could all chat with eachother but Paul could also talk easily to the group and answer peoples questions. Perfect mix of education and casual fun!

So I have been on many food tours, mostly across Europe, but also in the United States of America and Canada. Gerard is likely one of the best food tour guides I have encountered. He moved at a pace that was efficient, but also left enough time for questions and to digest the most delicious food in Amsterdam. He gave us enough history that it wasn’t too overwhelming yet it was educational. The photo stops All added to the overall positive experience. He has a wonderful way to bring a small group together for three hours to enjoy food and conversation together. Highly recommend.

Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
